Can you please provide a brief overview of WiFeed?
WiFeed is a Brazilian-based Wi-Fi authentication and security platform designed for ISPs, enterprises, and public networks. We help organizations turn their Wi-Fi infrastructure into a secure, compliant, and strategic asset – enabling smart access control, network policy, and customer engagement through marketing and data intelligence.
Operating in over 12,000 locations and managing more than 70,000 hotspots across Brazil, WiFeed serves a growing network of over 600 ISPs, that resell our software to enterprises.
Our platform supports all major access point manufacturers and offers advanced features like SSO integration, real-time analytics, Wi-Fi marketing tools and integration with the main local ERPs and CRMs. It is used in both customer-facing hotspots and internal enterprise networks – delivering scalability, security, and full compliance with local legislation.
Are there any major highlights for WiFeed in 2025 that you’d like to share?
Our main announcements for the first semester will be the WBA membership and also a billing feature that we are also launching at the end of the month. We didn’t have the credit and debit card payment option as an authentication method, but now we do!
It will be useful for special cases, such as events, areas with poor coverage and some big venues.
For the rest of the year, we will definitely launch the OpenRoaming integration and we believe our first customer cases. We are also planning other announcements, but we will let you know at the best timing!
What led WiFeed to join the WBA, and what do you ultimately hope to achieve through your membership?
We joined the Wireless Broadband Alliance because we believe the future of Wi-Fi is open, automatic, and secure. Traditional captive portals, such as WiFeed, have played a critical role in onboarding and engagement, but they are no longer satisfactory regarding customer experience. As user expectations evolve, we see technologies like Passpoint and OpenRoaming as essential to the next generation of Wi-Fi experiences.
By becoming a WBA member, we aim to accelerate OpenRoaming adoption in Brazil — enabling seamless and secure authentication across retail, healthcare, education, enterprise, and public spaces, through our network of ISP and telecom operator partners.
Our mission is to make connecting to Wi-Fi outside the home feel just as simple, comfortable, and secure as it does at home – while ensuring privacy, compliance, and long-term value for every player in the connectivity ecosystem.
