London, 14 November 2023 – GlobalReach Technology, a leader in wireless ISP software and services, has added a new captive portal content management system to its Trusted WiFi cloud WiFi platform. The new CMS design template lets brands add promotional images, special offers, ads and other communications to their Wi-Fi portal pages. This extends their marketing campaigns and unlocks new opportunities to sell additional products and engage with customers.

The feature is perfect for locations like food and drink retailers, shopping centres, transport hubs and other public places. It adds image-based content to captive portal splash, interstitial and success pages, to promote products and services.

Content can be targeted and scheduled by location, time and user or device type. This gives multi-venue chains the flexibility to tailor to individual company brands, drive local campaigns, or deliver specific venue information.

Offering a further benefit, the venue’s Wi-Fi investment can also be offset by selling these digital marketing channels to related brands, such as retailers within a shopping centre, or bars and restaurants in a food court.

The Trusted WiFi captive portal Content Management System is available as a standard platform feature. It allows broadband carriers and managed service providers to use the platform to deliver customised public Wi-Fi services for their venue customers. The self-service cloud platform launched in May 2023. It is designed to quickly launch personalised, multilingual carrier-grade connectivity using any vendor hardware.

A single dashboard includes a branded captive portal, a choice of authentication methods, anonymised data capture and analytics. Plus management and hardware support, reducing Wi-Fi service costs and time-to-market.

Product updates since launch include content filtering and configuration documentation for Wi-Fi hardware vendors including Galgus and InHand Networks.
