A new era for MACH in 2009

Luxembourg, 6th January 2009 – The Board of Directors of the MACH Group announced today that they have appointed Guy Dubois to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr Dubois will replace Martin Lippert, who is returning to Denmark for personal reasons. Mr Dubois previously held a position on the Board of Directors of MACH.

“The appointment of Mr Dubois marks yet another important milestone in the growth and development of the MACH Group,” said Charles Gurassa, Chairman of MACH Group. “Guy brings to MACH a wealth of knowledge and experience built from two decades spent developing and leading large, multi-national software and services companies in complex markets. It is this knowledge and experience that will drive the successful execution of our strategy to expand our existing business and to develop new business outside our core data and financial clearing market.”

Mr Dubois was previously the Executive Vice President of Amdocs. Prior to that and until its acquisition by Amdocs in 2006, he was Chief Executive Officer of Cramer Systems, a leading provider of Operations Support Software (OSS) to the telecommunications industry. Before joining Cramer, Mr Dubois held senior executive positions at PeopleSoft, Vantive, Sybase and Digital.

We are entering a new age of telecommunications: the Mobile Age,” said Mr Dubois. “The converging forces of new mobile applications, new market entrants and new revenue models against the backdrop of a challenging global economy require mobile operators to develop and secure profitable new revenue streams more quickly than ever before.  MACH has built an unrivalled portfolio of innovative roaming, messaging and connectivity solutions.  Mobile operators around the world have built their businesses on our proven roaming platforms, gaming portal and business-to-business e-commerce applications. MACH is uniquely positioned to provide the complete process and technology infrastructure that will empower operators to build and optimise new commerce-, communication- and entertainment-based revenue streams, anywhere and on any technology. I am delighted to be joining the business at this exciting time.”

Mr Gurassa went on to pay tribute to outgoing CEO Martin Lippert.“I want to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to Martin Lippert for his contribution to the continuing growth and success of the company over the past years. We are delighted that Martin has agreed to remain involved with MACH by accepting a position on our Board of Directors.”

Mr Dubois takes over with immediate effect.
