Mr. Ou Yan is acting as Deputy Managing Director of China Telecommunications Corporation and responsible for marketing, sales, mobile business on global basis and the business development in emerging markets. Prior to his present role, Mr. Ou has already contributed significantly to China Telecom’s global expansion. He was appointed as Managing Director of China Telecom (Europe) Limited in 2006 and has spent over 7 years in the UK to oversee all China Telecom’s business development and operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Ou has more than 20 years working experiences in global business since he joined China Telecom, especially in company strategy, marketing, business development and network management areas.

Mr. Ou received an Engineering Degree and a Master Degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 1987 and 2003 respectively, and an Executive MBA from the celebrated Guanghua School of Management at Peking University in 2005.
