Angie Wiskocil is currently a Board member and Executive Advisor for several Silicon Valley Companies as well as Board Advisor for Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA). Given her extensive executive track record and broad strategic experience, she provides advice and counsel on designing, implementing and operating innovative technology solutions. Aligning business goals to drive revenue, grow the company in rapid growth enviroments. Solving business problems and optimizing business processes to drive competitive advantage.
She was previously President and CEO of AT&T Wi-Fi, a subsidiary of AT&T. She held this position for four years; extending the company’s Wi-Fi reach and capabilities. AT&T Wi-Fi is an industry leader in Wi-Fi; operating the nation’s largest Wi-Fi network with more than 30,000 US Hotspots. She led the strategic growth of the subsidiary’s network, applications services and revenues.
Angie held a number of executive officer level positions within AT&T. Prior to her leadership role for AT&T Wi-Fi, she served as Senior Vice President, Consumer IT for four years. She provided leadership for corporate-wide applications and systems, development of customer based U-Verse applications and IP systems (including on-line and customer care) billing, directory, marketing and sales. Other executive positions held were in Engineering, Information Technology, Network Operations, Customer Care and Sales).
She has been honored with several business and leadership awards; including Hispanic Business magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential Hispanics. Wireless Weekly Industry Leadership Award for Wi-Fi Growth & Innovation, Hispanic Engineer & IT most Influential Award, Women in Technology Technical Innovation Award.
