TRENDS AND OPPORTUNITIES
This task group places a special focus on the APAC region to foster greater participation and inclusivity.
To support this goal, the WBA PMO, in collaboration with key leaders, has established a recurring meeting specifically designed to accommodate APAC members. These biweekly meetings are conveniently scheduled on Thursday afternoons or early evenings, aligning more effectively with the time zones of most Asian countries.

The APAC Task Group offers members a platform to engage with key WBA initiatives, submit contributions, and review submissions from others. With an open agenda, all topics are welcome for discussion.
The group empowers members to develop work tailored to APAC needs, often expanding to global relevance, with full flexibility in choosing topics and creating deliverables.
A standout example is OpenRoaming Introduction Guide. This collaborative effort underscores the group’s ability to produce impactful outcomes by addressing regional challenges, deployment strategies, and APAC-focused case studies, ultimately facilitating the adoption of OpenRoaming across the region.
