The Matter 1.4 (released November 2024) update introduces Enhanced Multi-Admin, enabling smoother integration across platforms like Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Alexa, thus improving setup efficiency. It also expands support for energy management devices such as solar panels, batteries, and EV chargers, addressing the growing demand for sustainable smart homes

• Connectivity Strategies for Smart Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) report: WBA members has enhanced centralized management in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs), examines how next-generation technologies such as Wi-Fi 7, 6 GHz spectrum, WPA3 and emerging IoT frameworks are unlocking significant new performance and service opportunities for MDUs, while also introducing real-world deployment and operational challenges at scale.
• Operator Managed Wi-Fi – Phase Three: Entering its third phase, this initiative focuses on strict compliance and testing to confirm that equipment consistently meets or exceeds advertised specifications.
