NGH Live Experience at the Wi-Fi Global Congress
We envision a world in which the Next Gen Wi-Fi powers innovation through seamless Wi-Fi connectivity. And today that vision is becoming a reality in California. Previously enjoyed by thousands in Beijing, San Francisco, London and Barcelona, the Next Gen Wi-Fi Experience now comes to San Jose – the latest city to collaborate with the world’s leading operators and service providers – to showcase the benefits of a citywide integrated carrier Wi-Fi network.
Working with Ruckus Wireless, Accuris Networks, AIRI Point Dume, BSG Wireless, Front Porch, Global Reach, SingleDigits and Syniverse, we are able to provide a robust network delivering a completely seamless and ubiquitous Wi-Fi experience across a number of locations across Silicon Valley, supporting a wide range of Passpoint enabled devices. The network is open for subscribers from more than 30 operators around the world to automatically roam onto participating Wi-Fi hotspots.
The network will run alongside the Wi-Fi Global Congress which will bring the entire Wi-Fi ecosystem to San Jose between October 12th and 15th. When within the coverage area of the NGH Wi-Fi network, smartphones and laptops will automatically and securely authenticate onto the network based on user identity credentials (either EAP-SIM or EAP-TTLS). The network can support up to 2,000 users at any time and will be available to conference participants, exhibitors and tourists in the shaded areas of this map.
Confirmed Partners include: San Jose City (Convention Center, San Jose Airport, San Jose City Center Outdoor) and the Marriott Hotel in San Jose. Full details are available on http://www.hotspot2experience.com
