Can you please share a brief overview of Aiwifi?
Aiwifi is a leading SaaS platform specializing in intelligent WiFi, presence analytics, and data-driven marketing.
We empower businesses with physical venues—such as retail chains, shopping malls, restaurants, and transportation hubs—to transform their guest WiFi from a simple utility into a powerful, automated growth engine.
Our solution enables clients to deploy sophisticated, branded captive portals for seamless, consented first-party data collection (e.g., email, social profiles, NPS surveys). This data then fuels automated marketing workflows, rich visitor analytics dashboards, WiFi monetization (via banners and surveys), and deep integrations with their core martech stack, including CRM, CDP, and advertising platforms like Meta and Google Ads.
In short, we bridge the gap between the physical visitor and their digital profile, allowing brands to understand and engage their customers in a way that was previously impossible.
How has 2025 been for Aiwifi – any exciting announcements or launches that you’d like to share?
2025 has been a pivotal year for Aiwifi, marked by significant scaling and platform evolution. We’ve doubled our footprint in the shopping mall and supermarket verticals, particularly across key LATAM markets, solidifying our position as the leader in the region. Also, we’ve launched updates to our platform including analytics that match customer behavior with customer experience.
How is 2026 shaping up for Aiwifi?
2026 is shaping up to be our year of strategic expansion and platform intelligence.
Our key priority is our formal launch into the North American market, starting with the United States and Canada. We are currently localizing our go-to-market strategy and building key channel partnerships to support this growth.
On the product roadmap, we are heavily investing in AI-driven analytics and third party ecosystem integrations. We are evolving our platform from descriptive reporting to prescriptive insights. The goal is to help our clients predict visitor churn, identify high-LTV customers in real-time, and automatically optimize their in-venue ad monetization strategy.
Finally, scaling through strategic alliances with telcos and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is a major focus. Our ‘Powered by Aiwifi‘ program is designed to help them bundle our platform as a high-margin, value-added service, which we see as a critical channel for rapid global scalability.
What led Aiwifi to join the WBA, and what do you ultimately hope to achieve through your membership?
Our decision to join the WBA was driven by our commitment to being at the forefront of the wireless ecosystem, centered on two pillars: collaboration and innovation.
- Collaboration: The WBA is the central hub where connectivity leaders, operators, and innovators converge. As a platform that builds upon the connectivity layer to deliver business value, it’s essential for us to collaborate with hardware manufacturers, telcos, and integrators. This ensures seamless interoperability and helps us build comprehensive, best-in-class solutions for our enterprise clients.
- Innovation & Standards: We are passionate about the future of WiFi, especially concerning secure authentication, data privacy, and the evolution of location-aware experiences. Engaging with the WBA ensures our platform remains aligned with global best practices and emerging standards, which we see as a key enabler for frictionless customer experiences.
Ultimately, what we hope to achieve is twofold:
- First, to contribute our unique expertise in data analytics and marketing automation to the alliance, helping to shape the conversation around WiFi monetization and customer engagement.
- Second, to accelerate our strategic partnerships, particularly with the global operators and MSPs within the WBA, as they are a critical channel for our international expansion.
