Using ‘plug and play’ monitoring agents or app on commercial devices, Epitiro continuously tracks key metrics such asconnection speed, Wi-Fi coverage, latency and packet loss.

Clients can also remotely troubleshoot by transforming any device into a virtual technician, deploying agents onto servers, laptops, tablets or smartphones to efficiently identify and resolve issues before they impact end users.

Capable of performance monitoring in complex and geographically dispersed environments, Epitiro serves a wide range of industries where high quality connectivity is key. Our customers include government regulators, hospitality providers such as student housing and hotels, ISPs and MSPs and stadium and airport connectivity providers.

The company’s focus on user-centric, remote diagnostics allows it to enhance connectivity and deliver efficient internet performance management anywhere in the world.

Its management team brings extensive telecom industry experience, ensuring reliable solutions that cater to the evolving demands of modern and converging network infrastructure.

Have there been any notable releases, launches or announcements that Epitiro has made in 2024 that you’d like to share with us?

Three major product launches were announced during 2024 that expand Epitiro’s ability to deliver powerful solutions and insights.

Our AI-powered Expert Analysis tool takes internet performance data to the next level by allowing users to dive deeper into network issues with granular data visualisation and comprehensive analysis to help troubleshoot and optimise network performance more effectively.

Critically, it provides a high-level overview informing users of not just what connectivity problems are occurring and where – but why they might be happening.

Epitiro Benchmark enables internet performance to be more efficiently compared across multiple sites, properties, and networks.

Thousands of pieces of performance data can be collated from multiple sites over any time period. AI and statistical algorithms then create an at-a-glance visual snapshot of which location is consistently performing well – and which isn’t.

Epitiro Windows Agent, meanwhile, expands the accessibility of Epitiro’s monitoring capabilities. It can be downloaded directly from the Microsoft Store and installed on any laptop or Windows device, similar to our mobile apps for iPhone and Android.

The Windows Agent runs discreetly in the background, allowing users to remotely run performance tests without the need for specialist hardware. This seamless integration with Windows devices provides greater flexibility for teams to monitor and troubleshoot network issues wherever their devices are located. It also includes specific tests to evaluate the performance of the Microsoft Teams service and supporting infrastructure.

Further exciting innovations from Epitiro are set to be announced over the coming weeks.

What led Epitiro to join the WBA, and what does the company ultimately hope to achieve as a WBA member?

Epitiro has joined the WBA with a clear vision – to actively contribute to the advancement of Wi-Fi and internet connectivity, particularly in the critical areas of quality of service (QoS) measurement and performance benchmarking.

Our mission has always been to enhance the connected world by delivering actionable insights and analysis through advanced monitoring and troubleshooting solutions. We see WBA membership as a key step in driving this mission forward.

As a member of the WBA, we aim to elevate awareness of our solution and contribute to the goal of helping Wi-Fi networks evolve from isolated “best-efforts” networks to reliable, ultra-high Quality of Service networks with seamless coverage and roaming.

The WBA’s global network of industry leaders provides an unparalleled platform for collaboration, and by participating in this community, we are excited to engage with thought leaders who are shaping the future of wireless connectivity.

WBA membership opens doors for knowledge exchange and collaboration with key industry players. Many of our customers are active WBA members, which strengthens our desire to be part of this valuable ecosystem.

By aligning with the WBA, we not only hope to raise awareness of our business but also to contribute to the shared goal of advancing connectivity standards worldwide, benefiting businesses and consumers alike.
