Boingo to Manage and Operate Wi-Fi Services at the Three Largest Airports in Norway, Serving More Than 30 Million Travelers Annually

LOS ANGELES – Nov. 5, 2012 – Boingo Wireless (NASDAQ: WIFI), the Wi-Fi industry’s leading provider of software and services worldwide, today announced a new agreement with Oslo Lufthavn Tele & Data AS (OLTD) to manage and operate Wi-Fi services at the three most highly-trafficked airports in Norway: Oslo Airport (OSL); Bergen Airport, Flesland (BGO); and Stavanger Airport, Sola (SVG). Collectively, these airports serve more than 30 million passengers annually. With the addition of the three largest airports in Norway, Boingo now manages Wi-Fi services at more than 20 European airports serving nearly 275 million passengers each year.

Boingo will broadcast its “Boingo Hotspot” SSID throughout the airports, and will fully manage the user experience at these leading Nordic destinations. Boingo Wi-Fi services include authentication, roaming access and support to ensure quality connections for all users. Boingo’s Wi-Fi services are slated to launch at all three airports in December, just in time for the holiday travel season.

“Introducing Boingo’s internationally recognizable Wi-Fi service to our Oslo, Bergen and Stavanger airports will offer our travelers flexible access options and meet their increasing need for fast, reliable connectivity,” said Morten Eldevik, CEO and managing director of Oslo Lufthavn Tele & Data AS. “Boingo is a leading provider of Wi-Fi, and the company’s neutral-host roaming platform will allow our passengers to stay productive and entertained without incurring expensive international roaming charges.”

“Norway’s three largest airports are seeing strong international passenger growth. This is driven by the booming shipping and oil industries as well as increased tourism to the mountains and fjords of Norway. This makes them ideal additions to our growing portfolio of international airports,” said Bjorn Thorngren, director of EMEA for Boingo Wireless. “The launch of our services at these key Nordic airports will ensure that more of our international customers can stay connected and save on international roaming fees as they travel for work or play.”

Passengers will be able to access Boingo Wi-Fi at all three airports via Boingo access plans, including Boingo Europe Plus, providing unlimited access at more than 200,000 hotspots throughout the Europe, Middle East and Africa region for €27.95 per month, and Boingo Global, providing flat rate access anywhere in the world for €49 per month. Hourly and day passes will also be available for purchase.

Boingo services at the Oslo, Bergen and Stavanger airports will also be available to Boingo’s roaming and platform service partners, including Orange France, TeliaSonera, Skype, LGU+, Korea Telecom, Telefonica, and Verizon, which wholesale Wi-Fi access from Boingo and provide self-branded Wi-Fi to their customers as part of their existing services. Boingo and OLTD also have a continuing agreement that allows Boingo customers to roam onto OLTD’s 43 other airport networks, which include Bodø, Tromsø, Trondheim and other airports throughout the country.

Boingo is the leading provider of airport Wi-Fi in North America and Europe. The company manages Wi-Fi services at more than 60 leading airports worldwide, including London Heathrow, Chicago O’Hare, New York John F. Kennedy, Beijing Capital International, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International, and Rome Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino.
