The Caravan Club will look to make improvements to its much criticised Wi-Fi network in the new year.

Caravanclub.co.uk says the group operates around 2,500 campsites across the nation, with 112 of these offering access to the internet.

The Caravan Club chose to act upon the rise of the mobile device by launching its very own Wi-Fi network, allowing holidaymakers to keep up to date with their life back home.

Yet despite the club promising speedy access to the hundreds of thousands of visitors to its sites, many have come forward to report problems with accessing the internet on many UK campsites.

Upon hearing of their grievances, the club has looked at ways of upgrading its services in a selected number of parks and insists the improvements will be made over the next two years.

According to caravantimes.co.uk, the club also revealed a new pricing package for its Wi-Fi access, which it says will provide holidaymakers with better value for money.

The cheapest deal sees visitors paying a mere £2.50 for 24 hours of wireless internet, which should be ideal for any holidaymakers enjoying a weekend away. For the more regular traveller, the club is charging £25 for unlimited access in sites across the UK for 12 months.
