With the midway point of the year now firmly behind us, 2019 has been nothing short of a benchmark year for the wireless industry. The widespread release of Wi-Fi 6 is imminent; great strides have been made in Wi-Fi deployments across all verticals, including in-flight, in-home, and in vehicles; 6 GHz spectrum is poised to play a major role in the ecosystem; and 5G is on the horizon. This fall, all of these topics – and many more – will take centre stage at the Wireless Broadband Alliance’s second Wireless Global Congress of 2019. Following our very successful WGC Atlanta this past May, we’re very excited to bring our next WGC event to the beautiful city of Frankfurt, Germany, on Monday, 30 September to Tuesday, 1 October.
With hundreds of attendees joining us from all across the world, WGC Frankfurt will bring together industry leaders from WBA member companies, our industry partners and the wider ecosystem to discuss, debate, network and present on the topics that matter to your business. These include:
- The role and importance of 6 GHz spectrum for Wi-Fi 6
- Innovation, operation and disruptive growth in the enterprise wireless space
- Wi-Fi evolution and monetization: creating the next generation user experience for carriers, cities, enterprise and consumers
- In-Flight Wi-Fi – opportunities and monetization strategies
- IoT – powering the next generation revenue opportunities
- How Wi-Fi 6 can benefit enterprise verticals
- Powering the In-Home Wi-Fi experience
- How IoT will impact our lives in the home, in vehicles, and on-the-move
- And more!
Some of the top companies and organizations in the industry will be in attendance, including: Deutsche Telekom, Huawei, Cisco, Boingo Wireless, Intel, Carnegie Technologies, Cognitive Systems Corp, Global Reach Technology, AT&T, BT, Orange, SK Telecom, Korea Telecom, NTT DoCoMo, Federal Network Agency (BNetzA), and many more!
