Business objectives
• Fast-tracking the new Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) generation for operators leveraging unprecedented Carrier-Grade capabilities
• Assess the new set of capabilities of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) that best cater to different operator types, mobile, fixed, neutral host
• Look at the investment case for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) deployments as well as the technical case and commercials to advocate the benefits
• Dissect the theoretical benefits via practical fields trials with partners across segments and use cases (In-Home, Industrial, Cities and Carriers)
Project information
Whether for standalone delivery of Wi-Fi networks or as part of converged solutions, WBA will be leading work on Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and on RAN convergence to ensure that industry needs are met as Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and 5G standards are ratified. To drive the adoption of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), WBA provides platform for end-to-end Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) trial and testing with test plan and deployment guidelines to the industry

Target Audience includes WBA members, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) Device vendors, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) device service provider, Wi-Fi advocates, industry analysts, Wi-Fi operators, Cellular Operators, networking equipment providers.
TARGET OUTCOMES:
- Establish Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) deployment guidelines as the new industry standard
