CCAB develops, shares and promotes thought-leadership and practical framework for the social and economic development of the Connected City ecosystem. Activities to be developed are: Connected Cities Blueprint and guidelines, Cities Roaming Wi-Fi, Smart Cities Reference Architecture and Public Partnership Frameworks.
WBA is taking initiatives to develop a global neutral platform for all ecosystem stakeholders to promote a more affordable and sustainable broadband Internet to connect the unconnected. The “Hope for Connectivity charter” is launched and promote the ‘World Wi-Fi Day’ to enhance the collaboration among cities, government bodies, trade association, industry players to work together to provide affordable, sustainable broadband connectivity and improve the quality of life for people.
