Etisalat customers who enjoy travelling can now take advantage of a new service which offers high speed unlimited Wi-Fi on the go.
According to khaleejtimes.com, the telecoms operator has teamed up with iPass, one of the biggest Wi-Fi hotspot aggregators in the world, boasting a network of 1.4 million access points across 130 countries. Etisalat customers will be able to access Wi-Fi spots in a variety of places, such as hotels, airports and conference spaces through a subscription service.
Those who have a roaming package with the firm can take advantage of a weekly or monthly access pass. It will cost Dh100 per month to gain access to the unlimited Wi-Fi service, on top of cost of the weekly or monthly pass. Weekly roaming packages cost Dh200 and monthly ones cost Dh500, reports gulfnews.com.
Khaled El Khouly, chief marketing officer at Etisalat UAE, explained that this isn’t the only offer that has been launched by the firm this year.
“This offer is another example of our constant innovation that has now helped combine the best of two offers,” he said. “Earlier this year, we launched the mobile data roaming packages for our customers, enabling hassle-free travel without high mobile data costs. The Traveller Combo enabled subscribers to choose the mobile data roaming pack that is most suitable for them.”
