Car hire service Europcar has announced it will offer unlimited Wi-Fi at several of its airport locations.

The 4G Wi-Fi, provided by EE, will cost £9 per day and users will be able to use it as much as they like. This will allow travellers to catch up with their emails, social media feeds and even stream videos safe in the knowledge they won’t receive additional charges from their network provider, reports breakingtravelnews.com.

As many as ten devices can be connected to the Wi-Fi too, so users can get online on their laptops, phones, gaming devices and tablets all at the same time if they wish.

Ken McCall, managing director of Europcar UK Group, believes that overseas travellers will find the Wi-Fi provision particularly useful, especially if they’re in larger groups.

“We are launching this service at five of the biggest Europcar airport branches, bringing a wide number of travellers the convenience of fast and affordable Wi-Fi connection,” he explained. “Europcar continuously invests in new products and services designed to meet the needs of our customers, further strengthening our position as a leader in the car hire market.”

Travellers will be able to get online with Europcar at Manchester, London Gatwick, Heathrow, Edinburgh and Glasgow airport, reports buyingbusinesstravel.com.
