MGM Resorts International has initiated the installation of a brand new high-speed Wi-Fi service.

The Las Vegas based company, which owns landmarks such as the Bellagio Casino and the MGM Grand Hotel, has labelled it the “hospitality industry’s largest next-generation Wi-Fi network”.

It will reportedly offer up to 30 per cent faster connectivity and the opportunity to connect multiple devices at a time. The resorts hosting the service will advertise connection speeds of up to 10Mbps.

Other resorts that will host the service include ARIA, Vdara and The Shops at Crystals. According to convergedigest.com, the Wi-Fi connectivity will remain seamless even when travelling in between these resorts.

John Bollen, who is chief digital officer for MGM Resorts International, is really excited for the new service to be fully launched.

In an interview with traveldailymedia.com, he said:   “No one else in Las Vegas, and even the world, within the hospitality industry can offer the scale, quantity and quality of wireless services we now have available”

“With this new capability and the right technology partners, we are developing and enhancing innovative products and services based on our customers’ needs, interests and preferences to deliver the best possible experience at our premier resorts.”
